As you get to know Humane Stream, you’ll notice we love talking about the inherent beauty in all beings, and how our time together on this planet is worth celebrating. We want to make considerations like these mainstream (hence, our name). In doing so, we hope to play our part in creating a kinder, gentler world.
The Merch
Our merchandise features messages of kindness in colorful, hand-lettered designs. It’s playful, but we’re serious about how it's made. Every piece is eco-friendly and animal-free, and our intent is to source only from companies that treat their employees well. As an organization that champions compassion, this should certainly apply to those who help create our products.
Our initial lineup includes tee shirts and ball caps. Check it out on our Shop page. Over time, we also intend to roll out hoodies, coffee mugs, and more. Read about how we choose our suppliers on this blog post.
Humane Stream donates 10% of its profits to human-based charities, and another 10% to nonhuman charities. It’s our way of giving back, and of showing our commitment to making this a better world for all of us.

I've always considered myself an animal lover. Though for much of my life, this essentially meant I loved the critters in my immediate circle. Namely, the pets in my family.

This changed in my early twenties following the loss of my brother, Scot. When the grief began to subside, I was left with a deeper appreciation for life—all life. This appreciation has remained with me through the years, and is why I started Humane Stream..
